Robert Gill, (Central Presbyterian, Huntington) and the evening Sexton at Old First Presbyterian was struck by a drunk driver on Dec. 20th, when he was walking home from Old First. He suffered a broken scapula bone and injured his legs. His doctor tells him that he will be out of work for at least six weeks. Tom Sutter and his wife, Donna and family, as they mourn the loss of Donna's father. Prayers of peace and comfort for the Rev. Jim and Linda Barnum (Bellmore) as they mourn the sudden loss of Jim's brother-in-law. Prayers of comfort and strength for the Rev. Scoville Hall was destroyed by fire. Prayers of wholeness and healing for the Mother of the Rev. Iftikar Bhatti. His mother lives in Pakistan. Rev. Bhatti is the pastor of the Southeast Asia Presbyterian Fellowship in Valley Stream. Continued prayers for Lt. James Byler, (Central, Huntington) as he continues with his rehabilitation at Walter Reed General Hospital. Lt. Byler was severely injured in an IED blast in Afghanistan. Please pray for James' healing, his rehabilitation, his spirits that they would be strong; for his fellow soldiers; for their protection, and for their success so that this war would end. Prayers of healing for the Rev. Marion (Mac) McCoy (HR) who has been diagnosed with cancer and is receiving treatments.
